Crowfall turns out to be yet another carebear game

Hello everyone!

After reading the very first article from Crowfall devs I was very hyped. Unfortunately I can't find it right now, but if you remember, at first there was this webiste called play2crush.com.
The article was about how they were tired of the modern themepark MMOs, how they are all guys who worked on Ultima Online, Star Wars: Galaxies and Shadowbane...

how they intend to create a different MMO more like the old pre-trammel UO and whatnot. Needless to say I was very interested. Then, the kickstarter came. Then the website - crowfall.com

And then, there was this:

And this.

Seriously? A guinea pig guy as a playable character and some badly drawn girl that looks like it's been shat out of the sick brain of some anime geek?
All in all, the game sports horrible art, horrible carebearish concept and horrible graphics. It's like Hello Kitty Online set in a medieval setting. Don't take my word for it, just look at the pictures above, then look at some more concept art on their website. Ultima Online is probably turning in its grave right now. Thank god it didn't live to see this piece of feces. And while graphics are not an issue with me personally (I play Space Station 13), I know that for some people it's important.

It's even more distasteful than Richard Garriot's grand robbery via the Shroud of the Avatar scam.

Reading trough the website was just as unpleasant as witnessing the pictures above.

"We're gonna have carebear worlds and hardcore pvp worlds and this is our understanding of an oldschool pvp game".

The forums didn't bring me any enjoyment either. Filled with 12 year old kiddies and carebears, and threads "do we need finite projectiles and arrows or is it too tryhard and we're better of having infinite arrows?". Oh. My. God.

I didn't ask them how is it different from any other carebear game currently on the market if all the pussies and bears go to the safe lands, and all the pvpers are left to fight each other in "pvp" lands....

Wasn't the point of the old MMOS like Ultima Online that everyone played in the same world, there were no safe spots and the strong could prey on the weak?

Into the thrash it goes.
Faggots.
