I was thinking of something way more sophisticated... why are we so lazy ?

I mean I like you guys ideas... but all your ideas seem to miss the simple fact that the game is big enough to have game masters...

you guys forget about DnD ? how creative a gamemaster should get when faced with behavior problems that do not lead to good roleplay ?

If someone is a griefer its useless to put him in jail he has no incentive to be an ethical pvper or bandit. It will in fact turn them worse... give them bounty ? they'll indeed have too much fun...

But if they are so horrible that their virtues get all skewed and now the gods are against them, making them unlucky and vulnerable to divination or other mechanics that will turn them paranoïd and have a run for their money like a location tracker useable by virtuous characters part of an anti-bandit organisation.

And there should be in the end, a hardcore consequence for those who surf the line for too long. At one point if you still choose to play the annoying bank thief, or the annoying I don't roleplay and just kill... you'll be notified that if you get caught one too many times again, the gods (or oracle) will, and should kill you permanently.

This should be weaved with game mechanics so that it leaves a bit of fun for anyone who thinks its their style. Most true hardcore PVP proponents will have no problem with what I say, cause they'll know if they go full on, theres a risk of angering the gods.

I mean really you guys are going to have alot of fun, you shouldn't be so greedy with your "land"... sounds like walt disney all over again...
