On the Power of Death
Trough all these years I've learned a few things. The Ultimate RPG aint about killing dragons. Aint about the story, or the quests, or the 55 kinds of shirts a man with a sewing kit can make.
It aint about good, evil, magic, knights or exploring.
It's all of the above, bound together by the power of death. It compells us, it drives us, it casts a thin myst over the whole virtual world that adds deepness, realism and drama.
It offers mystery and REASON, and everything it touches glows with magic. The magic of being a REAL knight in a REAL medieval world, taming REAL dragons, making REAL friends. Fighting REAL battles.
Without this Power, without REASON, we are looking only at a pile of pixels. At a game of Farmville, where you gain nothing, lose nothing. It's like eating candyfloss. No matter how much you stuff your mouth with it, you are still hungry in the end. Because you ate nothing. And then you get diabetus.
