Good that at least someone is liking my psot. I'd like those people to elaborate more on the forums. Their opinions must be heard.
You know, I've come to the conclusions (and this understanding is not driven by the beers (that I drank today) alone, I swear
) that the ying-yang, dark-light principle is present in everything, even our mmorpgs.
The ca..c-c..c-car-...casual players want a universe of light. Only the Light, only the Ying. But it cant be this way. There must be the dark to balance things out.
Just like in real life real danger balances out the simplicity and abundance of our cool lives in the city, the PvP, stealing, full looting and scamming is absolutely important in a MMO.
You can't farm dragons with no risk forever. There must always be death. Constant movement, cosmic alignment of everlasting principles of which life itself is created.
I'd like to add smething more, but the beer driven mind forces me to go visit the nearest nightclub. So, fare thee well.
